Awesome Puzzles!

I own this puzzle and have completed it at least 4 times, once with a friend. I find it hard to believe this is only moderately difficult. Maybe it has to be all one color to be very difficult. The artwork is beautiful, which is generally the case with Cavallini puzzles, but the puzzle requires patience. I have had to walk away from it because of frustration. But I keep pulling it out at least once a year because it reminds me of all the things I love about doing puzzles.

We finished this puzzle and there were 5 pieces leftover and 5 open spots but none of them fit. There was no way we were taking the whole thing apart and starting over and the "finished" puzzle seemed fine, no mistakes. This was a huge disappointment and we do a lot of puzzles so I don't think that we were the problem. It makes me reluctant to order another Cavallini puzzle. Plus it was so much blue and was just not fun at some point. Not my favorite and I had done 3 of their other puzzles before this without issues.
