I was really excited for this puzzle when I ordered it, but I wish I’d read the reviews first. The box it comes in is fun, but it doesn’t include an accurate source photo of the puzzle so I had to constantly look at my phone to refer to the one on the website. A lot of the pieces seem to fit together but don’t so you’re having to move them around. Also, I’m left with 2 empty spaces and 2 pieces that don’t fit so the puzzle remains unfinished. The artwork is fun, and that’s about all it has going for it. It’s so disappointing to not be able to finish a puzzle that I’ve invested hours into.
The art of this puzzle is so fun! It is challenging but not so hard that you want to give up in frustration. It also comes with a fun booklet with background information about the world of Hogwarts throughout the filming of the 8 Harry Potter movies. I’ve marked this down a star because the design of the box, while awesome, makes it really hard to see the actual layout of the puzzle. The booklet is similar. I had to resort to searching for pictures online to complete this puzzle. And it isn’t actually completed, since I am missing two pieces and have one extra that looks like it should fit but, upon closer inspection, it doesn’t.
Lots of pieces are smashed and crumpled
Wanted to love this puzzle but the quality wasn’t great. Very hard to tell if you found the correct piece, because many fit like a perfect match. Also did not come with a complete source photo. I had to find one online in order to complete.
