Dahlia Festival | 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

The Dahlia Festival of Morges, a flowery tradition, was born in 1996 at the initiative of Morges florist Ernest Lüthi, who wanted to bring together different partners around a dahlia exhibition on the Igor Stravinsky quay. Since then, this event has become a much-loved floral appointment in French-speaking Switzerland. Every summer, the quays of Morges are transformed into a long flowered promenade. Visitors can admire numerous varieties of dahlias there, with particularly varied shapes and colors, in an exceptional natural setting with Lake Geneva as a backdrop. The event traditionally continues into the autumn, allowing people to enjoy the blooms for several weeks. This tradition also relies on genuine collective work. The planting and maintenance of the beds mobilize the city teams as well as numerous volunteers, who participate in watering, weeding and caring for the flowers throughout the season.
