Inspired by traditional printmaking, cubism, and mid-century illustration, she integrates defined flat shapes, expressive traditional textures, and focuses on compelling color palettes to create her illustrative works that explore emotion. Her work focuses on the area between the real and the imaginary and attempts to tell a story that exists in the magic of everyday life. When she's not making art, she makes friends with dogs from the neighborhood, plants something in her garden, or lies with a good book under a pile of cozy blankets.
