The Halloween House mini puzzle from Les éditions Heol with 99 pieces. Illustrated by French artist Marion Blanc, this mini puzzle made in France depicts a large house in the middle of the forest, with a Dracula-style roof and pumpkins placed in front of the windows. When I started doing this mini, I let out a sigh. It felt like a breath of fresh air to do this puzzle. I've been spending the last seven days each morning doing a mini puzzle that is either Halloween or Fall themed. They've all been from the Trevell family of puzzles, which I'm generally a big fan of. Something I've noticed is that since La Pauz changed its manufacturer, it's no longer my favorite mini. I had some quality issues with a couple of my Trevell mini's lately. But this Hoel puzzle was what La Pauz used to be for me. The pieces were really high quality and had a nice feel in the hand. It was super satisfying to snapping each puzzle in. The puzzle didn't make me sneeze. There wasn't an insane amount of puzzle dust, weird chalky film, or bent pieces like I've been getting with some of the other minis lately. I wish that some of the artists' designs for the other line of Trevell could be included with Hoel. This design was cute, and I loved all the little details! The only issue I ran into was there were 3 extra pieces, but that didn't bother me since it was a mini and easy to figure out what happened.

Another mini that was perfect to throw in my bag and break out while I was waiting somewhere.

Cute image, fun to assemble, quality pieces with a snug fit and no false fits.
